What could be more fun than rolling down a grassy hill on a warm spring day?

  1. My grandparents owned a house in Morro Bay. It had this most amazing lawn that was a grassy hill. It was flat near the house, and then rolled down to the street (Morro Bay, CA residential streets don’t have curbs). Of course, the gophers loved the lawn, too!

    • This was the best grassy lawn. I took this picture after an elegant wedding shower, and these kids were all gussied up. It didn’t take them long to polish off their cake, change their clothes, and head out for some fun. It was a perfect day: weather, wedding shower, and this green grassy hill where the kids could do what kids do. Morro Bay sounds familiar. I wonder if I have ever been there…ages ago maybe.

  2. I’d forgotten all about doing that as a kid! Oh dear… Well, when I’m back in VT I’d better do it so I’ll never forget, never grow old 😀

  3. Oh, this does bring back memories! Lovely post!

  4. Aw, sweet youth! I remember those days! 😉
